Pepsi True is a new cola flavor made with natural ingredients. It contains only 40% fewer calories than regular Pepsi. Rather than high fructose corn syrup, Pepsi True is sweet with cane sugar and Stevia, a plant based no calorie sweetener.
This follows on from various attempts (Pepsi Next, Pepsi Natural) for a healthy alternative. This drink is directly competing with Coke Zero (also sweetened with natural ingredients and promoted in an orange can), so it will be interesting to see how they fare against the leading cola brand.
