“Coffee Marinated Mutton Chop” describes how mutton chops are marinated in a mixture of coffee, honey and Balsamico reduction. This dish is served as an appetizer or entree.

Ingredients Coffee Marinated Mutton Chops

  • 200 Gram mutton chops

  • For the marinade:
  • 1 shot espresso

  • 10 ml honey

  • 10 ml balsamic Vinegar

  • 5 gram rosemary

  • 10 gram pink peppercorns (crushed)

  • olive oil

  • salt to taste

How to Make Coffee Marinated Mutton Chops

  • Combine all ingredients for the marinade and marinate chops in the fridge for 5-6 hours.
  • On medium heat, drizzle some oil in a non stick pan.
  • Dust the lamb chops with flour and sear in the heated pan.
  • Transfer into a preheated oven at 185 degrees for 6 minutes.
  • Once the lamb chops are cooked put them in the same pan and add 100 ml of lamb.
  • Stock and let it reduce to a sauce consistency. Adjust seasoning.
  • Garnish with some fresh parsley sprigs and serve with a side of sauteed
